The European Commission recently announced a very substantial Economic and Investment Plan to support the Western Balkans&#8217; long-term recovery and bring the region closer to the EU.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>High Representative Borrell welcomed the fact that North Macedonia&#8217;s level of alignment with EU foreign policy positions has increased in recent years, and thanked North Macedonia for its contributions to the EU\u2019s Common Security and Defence Policy missions and operations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Borrell congratulated Prime
