{"id":1354120,"date":"2024-06-03T23:43:57","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T21:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/?p=1354120"},"modified":"2024-06-04T15:42:51","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T13:42:51","slug":"young-european-ambassadors-from-western-balkans-win-webalkans-call-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/en\/news\/young-european-ambassadors-from-western-balkans-win-webalkans-call-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"Young European Ambassadors from Western Balkans Win WeBalkans Call for Proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are thrilled to announce that four Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from the Western Balkans region have successfully won the call for proposals from the WeBalkans project funded by the European Union opened during May 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement highlights their exceptional ideas and dedication to supporting cultural initiatives, protecting the environment, and promoting trust-building and reconciliation among youth in our region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The winners include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Adi Softic, Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong> with <strong>Maglaj Spirit Weekend <\/strong>&#8211; a unique youth gathering celebrating youth culture and the arts providing a platform for young artists, filmmakers, and musicians to showcase their work and network with established artists from the region.<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Aida Fejzullahu and Desantila Muriqi,<\/strong> Kosovo with the project <strong>Little Eco-Artists: Painting Our Future<\/strong> aiming to foster environmental awareness and activism from an early age.<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Martin Nikolovski, North Macedonia<\/strong> with the project <strong>Bridges across borders: Voices of YEAs,<\/strong> aiming to address common challenges, fostering regional cooperation, strengthening youth voices and promoting European values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>WeBalkans team was truly inspired by the high quality of all the proposals, and regret that we couldn&#8217;t fund them all. It was an exceptionally strong set of proposals, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated.
