{"id":1210155,"date":"2023-10-12T12:33:56","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T10:33:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/?p=1210155"},"modified":"2023-10-12T12:33:56","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T10:33:56","slug":"57th-bitef-festival-opened","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/en\/news\/57th-bitef-festival-opened\/","title":{"rendered":"57th Bitef Festival opened"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>This year\u2019s 57th Bitef was officially opened at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, with a moving speech by director Boro Dra\u0161kovi\u0107 and the acclaimed German play \u201cChildren of the Sun\u201d directed by Mateja Kole\u017enik.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Before the opening, a festive cocktail was held in the Yugoslav Drama Theater organised by<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/festival.bitef.rs\/\">Bitef<\/a><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia. On that occasion, the festival\u2019s artistic director Nikita Milivojevi\u0107 and deputy head of the EU Delegation in Serbia, Plamena Halacheva, greeted the attendees.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In her opening address, Halacheva pointed out that she is proud that the EU Delegation in Serbia is supporting the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/europa.rs\/evropski-duh-57-bitef-a\/\">Bitef festival for the sixth time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Tickets are on sale through the festival website, and can also be purchased at the Bitef box office on the first floor of the MTS hall, as well as before the beginning of the performances at the ticket offices of the mentioned theaters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>All information about the main and supporting programs of the festival can be found on the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/festival.bitef.rs\/\">official website of the festival<\/a>, as well as via social networks Facebook and
