{"id":1121425,"date":"2023-05-26T12:26:03","date_gmt":"2023-05-26T10:26:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/?p=1121425"},"modified":"2023-05-26T12:26:03","modified_gmt":"2023-05-26T10:26:03","slug":"modernisation-of-emergency-medical-institute-in-belgrade-with-the-support-of-the-eu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/en\/news\/modernisation-of-emergency-medical-institute-in-belgrade-with-the-support-of-the-eu\/","title":{"rendered":"Modernisation of Emergency Medical Institute in Belgrade with the support of the EU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After more than half a century, the City of Belgrade\u00a0Emergency\u00a0Medical\u00a0Institute\u00a0will be reconstructed thanks to a project financed by the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development\u00a0(EBRD).\u00a0The project will include works to improve energy efficiency, as well as the addition and expansion of existing facilities for an\u00a0additional\u00a04000m2.\u00a0Energy efficiency improvement measures include thermal insulation, improved heating, ventilation and cooling systems, as well as the introduction of energy-efficient lighting systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Agreement on the donation of the European Union in the amount of 8.8 million\u00a0euros\u00a0in grants was signed today in the presence of the Mayor of Belgrade\u00a0Aleksandar\u00a0\u0160api\u0107,\u00a0the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia Emanuele\u00a0Giaufret, the\u00a0EBRD Director for the Western Balkans Matteo\u00a0Colangeli, the Minister of Health\u00a0Danica\u00a0Gruji\u010di\u0107\u00a0and the Minister\u00a0of\u00a0European Integration\u00a0Tanja\u00a0Mi\u0161\u010devi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to signing of the donation, a tender for reconstruction works of the Emergency Medical Institute was also announced today. The European Union grants, as well as a previously secured EBRD loan of 5 million euros will be used to finance works on the reconstruction and expansion of the capacities of the Emergency Medical Institute building.\u00a0The total expected costs of investment are around 14 million euros. In addition, the European Union provided a donation of 1.7 million euros for technical assistance to the City of Belgrade for support in the implementation of the project, supervision of construction works and assistance in reviewing the potential for energy efficiency and introducing a sustainable financing mechanism in the\u00a0City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After
