{"id":1105350,"date":"2023-05-05T16:19:57","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T14:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/?p=1105350"},"modified":"2023-05-05T16:21:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T14:21:13","slug":"ceremonial-opening-of-the-renovated-fetislam-fortress-in-kladovo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/en\/news\/ceremonial-opening-of-the-renovated-fetislam-fortress-in-kladovo\/","title":{"rendered":"Ceremonial opening of the renovated Fetislam fortress in Kladovo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The renovated Fetislam fortress with a reconstructed summer stage was officially opened yesterday, on April 26<sup>th<\/sup>, on Kladovo Municipality Day, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, Head of the Delegation of the European Union Emanuele Giaufret and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Anke Konrad, Minister for European Integration Tanja Mi\u0161\u010devi\u0107, as well as Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Culture Maja Gojkovi\u0107, Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memi\u0107, representatives of the diplomatic corps and a large number of citizens of Kladovo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cToday we see the concrete results of the cooperation between the European Union and Serbia to preserve something we all care about \u2013 our common European heritage, to preserve it for our common future. After Golubac and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/europa.rs\/bac-uskoro-na-mapi-unesco-a\/\">Ba\u010d<\/a>, the EU supported the restoration of the Fetislam fortress in Kladovo, another impressive fortification on the Danube and its summer stage, with co-financing from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. By investing in the preservation of cultural heritage and the development of tourism capacities, we are also creating opportunities for employment and economic development,\u201d\u00a0Ambassador Giaufret\u00a0said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The official opening was followed by the concert of\u00a0<strong>\u201cCine and Rock\u201d orchestra<\/strong>, which breathed
