Tomorrow, High Representative\u00a0<strong>Borrell<\/strong>\u00a0will chair the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/meetings\/international-ministerial-meetings\/2023\/03\/16\/\">12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Council<\/a>, which will be followed by a joint press conference, with Prime Minister Rama and Commissioner\u00a0<strong>V\u00e1rhelyi,<\/strong>\u00a0which will be broadcast on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/audiovisual.ec.europa.eu\/en\/ebs\/both\/20230316\">EbS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The same day, High Representative\u00a0<strong>Borrell<\/strong>\u00a0will hold a bilateral meeting with Minister of Defence Niko Peleshi. He will also participate in the inauguration of the Venetian Tower in Durres, the restoration of which has been funded by the EU following the devastating earthquake in 2019 together with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhacka and Minister for Culture Elva Margariti and hold an exchange with youth representatives. On his side, Commissioner\u00a0<strong>V\u00e1rhelyi<\/strong>\u00a0will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhacka, and Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku. He will also hold discussions with members of the National Council of European Integration in the Albanian Parliament together with representatives of the judiciary, the civil society and the academia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In North Macedonia, HR\/VP\u00a0<strong>Borrell<\/strong>\u00a0and Commissioner\u00a0<strong>V\u00e1rhelyi<\/strong>\u00a0will meet with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><u>on Thursday, 16 March<\/u>. On Friday, High Representative\u00a0<strong>Borrell<\/strong>\u00a0will lead the EU delegation in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/meetings\/international-ministerial-meetings\/2023\/03\/17\/\">16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0EU-North Macedonia Stabilisation and Association Council<\/a>. After the Council, High Representative\u00a0<strong>Borrell<\/strong>, Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, and Commissioner\u00a0<strong>V\u00e1rhelyi<\/strong>\u00a0will hold a press conference which will be transmitted live on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/audiovisual.ec.europa.eu\/en\/ebs\/both\/20230317\">EbS<\/a><u>at around 11:30 CET<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The same day, HR\/VP\u00a0<strong>Borrell<\/strong>\u00a0will hold a number of bilateral meetings, including with Minister of Defence, Slavjanka Petrovska; and the Speaker, Deputy Speakers, Political Party Coordinators and Chairs of the National Council for European Integration Committee on European Affairs of the Parliament of North Macedonia.
