EU support to the Civil Society Resource Center – Phase 2

Project Description

The “EU Support to the Civil Society Resource Centre – Phase 2” project strengthens civil society organisations (CSOs) in North Macedonia by improving their capacities, resilience and role in democratic processes and public policy-making. Through training, mentoring, online learning tools, grants, networking opportunities and tailored support, the project helps CSOs become more sustainable, effective, transparent and accountable in their work. Special attention is given to grassroots organisations and CSOs operating outside Skopje, contributing to more balanced regional development and stronger civic participation across the country.

At the same time, the project supports the creation of a more enabling environment for civil society by strengthening dialogue with public institutions, promoting participatory decision-making and contributing to reforms linked to the EU accession process. Through the Civil Society Resource Centre as a countrywide support platform, the project improves cooperation, information exchange and access to resources, helping civil society play a more active role in democratic development and representing citizens’ interests.
